Most of the people here are feeling the effects of the onara drought and beyond that, there was that attack of trolls because of some You-tuber guy a while ago. Another thing is that overly bubbly playful or annoying persistent personalities don't come across very well, especially when the motive behind it appears to be personal gain because it comes across as entitlement (which you made apparent that it actually wasn't).
The point is we should be nice to each other even if we don't like each other that much, we're a select community and we can't let this die by casting away our own. It's also fair to assume that because of a language barrier, some may not understand the sarcasm or otherwise they don't desire to play games when there's stakes.
