Is it bad that the main reason I want to learn how to read Japanese is so that I would be able to understand fart art without needing to wait until someone translates it into English?

We've all been there, man.
Not a bad reason at all, really.
Sometimes the dialogue can help when you're getting your jollies off and the picture just won't cut it.
...yes, I know that the picture is technically cutting it, but that's beside the point.
Being able to understand it would help immensely, and as someone who can't read a bit of Japanese, I can relate.
