Could we not censor male braps. It’s no wonder why there are so few females in this community; the straight ones get their interests dismissed before they can even explore this fetish.

It's not censorship, not explicitly. The default threshold for hiding an image is a -1 score. Users themselves can go into their options page and set this to be higher or lower; lowering it would allow one to view images of a low score without having to directly reveal them. We don't have any control over the scoring system beyond this so unfortunately people will have to make do.

While I understand the technological difficulties in maintaining the integrity of liberty for all memebers, this cannot act as an excuse to the subcultural aggravation caused by a specific group within this community. I find it blatantly hypocritical of any attempts, successful or not, to dispose of or ridicule posts here based on grounds of one’s own sexuality or specific sexual preference. As fetishists, we should try to limit the estrangement we encourage or deploy ourselves in our interior society as we do to exterior parties.

I would not say that we are in some war with the vanilla public, but I believe it is safe to say that not being prepared in advance for their inevitable assaults would fracture our communities. And how can we defend such attacks if we ourselves cannot prove that our own infrastructure is uniform enough to be tolerant and/or open-minded.

If that is no concern to you who reads this, then I hope that the loneliness of ostracization put onto many of our female members here does. I’ve watched this booru for years. It pains me to see innocents have their interests treated as taboo. The same way that our collective interest is treated by the world’s majority.

I can’t expect any administrative here to be able to change the culture or mindset of members here. Just as well, their indifference to this comment is certainly plausible. Maybe I’m just rambling here and there really isn’t an important problem. But, I would say for many of us, the community here, and in places like here, is another place to share life with people. I just don’t want anyone to feel dismissed from this community.

Wow, that's using whole lot of words to say nothing at all. You can't force people to upvote what they don't like.

To Hilda

I am sorry if I was incoherent in the diction I used. I am also sorry for attempting to show the gravity of importance of what I was trying to say with such extensive vocabulary. I should have thought to be simpler so as to gather the attention of the members here more readily.

My point is, is that the female population of the entire fetish community, whether what website it is on, is in some way excluded or objectified. Here, not only the interests of straight females, but also of gay males, are implied to be unwelcomed by the downvoting. True, I cannot “force” anyone to upvote this, or even to not downvote. But I’d like to think everyone here is inteligent enough to reason and humor my request that they be more tolerant.

If this is unfeasible, then there is truly nothing important in what I’ve been saying I suppose. So if you have any argument to support that, then state so.

While I do agree that women and men who like guy farts should have a place here, an image being downvoted is not indicative of mistreatment or intolerance of those specific groups. It's merely the majority's opinion on the image, not an attempt to pursue subjugation of those with differing sexual desires. A clear showing of intolerance would be removing all images marked "Male Fart." But that doesn't happen. Images don't get deleted solely because of a negative score; there's images on this site with a -8 score and still up. There has been posts with scores up to 10 that have been deleted. The issue is not intolerance, bur rarity of individuals within those groups.
